Christopher Reid Flock


Mentored with Canadian ceramist Kayo O’Young and studied ceramics at Sheridan, Reid moved to Japan to live and research ceramics for nine years. Faculty at Mohawk College and the Dundas Valley School of Art, he facilitates workshops and mentorships across Canada. In 2019, Reid will co-headline the Canadian ceramic conference 1000 Miles Apart at the University of Manitoba. A recipient of the Winifred Shantz Award for Ceramics he is currently investigating virtual reality with classical clay processes with the Canada Council for the Arts.
